Welcome to the ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΚΥΠΡΙΑΚΗ ΕΣΤΙΑ (The Midlands Greek and Cypriot Association). Please look around and discover more about us.
The association was founded in 1974 and moved to the Community Centre in Erdington in 1983. We offer various facilities to support the Greek and Cypriot community in the Midlands and to promote Hellenic culture within the region, from our traditional Taverna & Café, the Greek & Cypriot food shop, our Banqueting Suite, Greek School, and our Orthodox Church.
We are an Industrial and Provident Society (GB-MPR-30050R) governed by the FSA. As a not-for-profit organisation, we depend on the work of volunteers and donations to keep the centre going. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to donate.
EVERYONE is welcome at our centre, you’ll be greeted with open arms and made to feel at home. We also have a traditional Greek restaurant and Café serving fresh food (please look under the 'Restaurant & Café' section for more information). If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact our office.

We Require Donations!
Our Estia (centre) relies on kind and regular donations from its visitors in order to survive. We are asking for assistance by way of donations on a one-off basis or by way of a weekly or monthly regular donation. Αγαπητα Μέλη, Φίλοι και Υποστηρικτές της Ελληνοκυπριακής Εστίας.
Ελπίζω εσείς και οι οικογένειές σας να περνάτε όμορφα και να είστε όλοι καλά στην υγεία σας και ασφαλείς, έστω και υπό τις παρούσες δύσκολές και δυσάρεστες στιγμές που περνάμε. Η Εστία μας έχει κλείσει όπως και το εστιατόριο μας, μετά και την επίσημη έκκληση της Κυβέρνησης ως ένα από τα μέτρα προς αντιμετώπιση της πανδημίας του Covid-19. Η καθοδήγηση δεν δείχνει κανένα σημάδι χαλάρωσης που μας επιτρέπει με τη σειρά του να επιστρέψουμε στην Εστία για να χρησιμοποιήσουμε τις κανονικές παροχές σε κοινωνική βάση. Πράγματι φαίνεται ότι ίσως πάρει κάποιο διάστημα πριν επιστρέψουμε στους κανονικούς μας ρυθμούς και πίσω στην Εστία μας. Όπως γνωρίζετε, η Ελληνοκυπριακή Εστία βασίζεται σε ευγενικές και τακτικές δωρεές από όλους εσάς τους επισκέπτες της και μέλη της για να επιβιώσει. Για 10 εβδομάδες τώρα, αυτό το εισόδημα έχει σταματήσει εντελώς και η Εστία θα αγωνιστεί να επιβιώσει εάν οι περιορισμοί παραμείνουν σε ισχύ για μεγάλο χρονικό διάστημα.
Ως εκ τούτου, ζητάμε βοήθεια μέσω δωρών ή μέσω εβδομαδιαίας ή μηνιαίας τακτικής δωρεάς. Αυτό θα μας βοηθήσει να διατηρήσουμε την Εστία μας και όλες τις εγκαταστάσεις για όσο καιρό είμαστε σε αυτή την κατάσταση μέχρι και την επιστροφή μας στην κανονικότητα.

This website is for all Greeks and Cypriots living in the Midlands. We will aim to keep people informed of forthcoming events at the Association Centre, and also be the basis of discussion on how the centre can be improved, become more accessible, and offer more to the Greeks and Cypriots of The Midlands.
